Peru - Pangoa, Junin Gregorio Torre
Getting our hands on this coffee again is not just a transaction but a celebration of the trials and the triumphs of this beautiful relationship. It also serves as a reminder of the meticulous efforts importing partners undertake daily.
Our introduction to Gregorio and Isabel Torre came through our dear friend, & fellow coffee professional, Jerod Snider, who encountered the Torre family during his time living in Peru. Jerod's company, Called Coffee, shares our reverence for the Torre's exceptional coffee, making us the sole two roasters outside Peru privileged enough to showcase their remarkable coffee.
This year's harvest surpasses all expectations. A slower growing season has imbued this coffee with a complexity and sweetness unlike any before. While hints of sweet lemon and chocolate have been constants, this year's batch bursts with vibrant citrus and floral notes, reminiscent of candied lemon and the luscious sweetness of white grape juice and honey.
Securing just four bags out of the twelve produced, we urge you not to let this opportunity slip by. Treat yourself to this extraordinary and deeply personal coffee experience before it's gone.
